Georgia Chef provides workshops, Teacher In-service sessions, additional skills training for culinary instructors, on-site visits and conferences with school officials, and information updates. Students have opportunities to compete in the FCCLA Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry STAR Events, beginning at and advancing at the Region, State, and National Levels. Students may also compete at FCCLA State Events including Digital Delish Dish, Creative Showpiece, Chicken Fabrication, and Knife Skills. Other competitions include the Chili Cook-Off, Culinary Arts Competition, the Georgia Peanut Recipe Contest, and Culinary Arts Knowledge Bowl held at the Georgia National Fair. In addition, GACHEF co-sponsors High School and Middle School Culinary Bootcamp with FCCLA each year in December and June.
